Chemist Position Available

$65,000.00 per year Salaried Position

Duties Include

Plan, direct and coordinate metal finishing through chemical processing, product application and research activities ; Manage operations; Conduct analysis to determine chemical and physical properties of chemicals using spectrophotometry methods; Perform quality control test on process chemicals, sample assay and impurities; Test product integrity following ASTM, ACS tests using UV-Vis for Assay and absorbance, titrations, and Photometer; Compile and analyze test information to determine process operating efficiency and diagnose malfunctions; Perform investigation on the OOS samples and report as per the SOPs by following GLP and GMP procedures; Develop analytical methods for root cause analysis and corrective measures; Write standards and specifications for processes; Calibrate laboratory instruments like UV-Visible spectroscopy, Analytical balance, pH meter, Photometer, and document changes in the instrument performance as per the SOPs and troubleshoot instruments to maintain technical integrity; Provide product evaluation testing; Update product specification and other product relevant details in LIMS by reviewing the data by following GLP and GMP procedures and Generate documents for product release.

Masters Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and 12 months experience as Chemist/Laboratory Management and knowledge of use of spectrometer as evidenced by course work or experience Required.
